The Week in Kate Middleton’s Wardrobe

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was literally taking over your weekly fashion recap – so I decided a woman so prolific warrants her own post. Take a look at every item England’s princess wore this week, as she traveled with Prince William through Canada and the U.S.

It’s perfectly tailored, preppy, and has a bit of flair – in other words, it’s Kate Middleton. The shoes are just fantastic.

I don’t love this purple on her. The clingy, slightly shiny purple fabric looks a bit cheap to me.

Gorgeous. Considering it’s a gray, that’s a great summer color. The draping is lovely and the dress is incredibly flattering.

Love, love, LOVE Casual Catherine. This girl can wear skinny jeans and blazers like it’s her job.

This one gets a little matronly and gives off that politician’s wife vibe that Kate, by virtue of her youth, great style, and amazing looks, usually manages to avoid. The nude accessories don’t help.

Does this princess have the teeniest little waist you’ve ever seen, or what? That tucked-in button down with belted jeans could look cheesy or nerdy on most women, but Kate looks super-cute. Love the loafers.

Cute, but it looks like a fall dress to me.

It’s a super-fun color, and I love where the sleeves hit.

Obviously, Brits come to America and don belted jeans and cowboy hats. You have to admit, both of them look so cute, it’s a little bit ridiculous.

Nude shoes and purses don’t go with EVERYTHING, Kate. I mean, I guess they do, but they’re a little exhausting, no? The dress is okay, but she wore a very similar Erdem dress last week that I liked much better.

I usually hate anything that poofs out around an elastic waist, but when you look like Kate Middleton, it works. But it’s a whole lot of non-color, what with her penchant for invisible accessories.

Fabulous dress – a touch of Jackie O, with some fun details.

Great color, but with those buttons and that silhouette, she looks like a little girl.
