It’s been a big week for Gleeks, so
LEA MICHELE // dress by Valentino, purse by Jimmy Choo, shoes by Prada
Lea hit the red carpet at a luncheon for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association this week, donning a simple floral dress, a white clutch, and nude peep-toe shoes. I actually love Lea’s take on a lady who lunches – the dress would be a little too conservative at an evening event, but it’s perfect for a fancy luncheon. She looks fabulously tiny and super-tan, and I’m just a little bit obsessed with that purse.
I always enjoy Lea the most when she’s smiling, rather than doing that sex face she always does, like she did at the Fox All-Star party the next day…
LEA MICHELE // dress by Marchesa, purse by Judith Leiber
We’ve left the land of daytime summer chic, and entered a place of sex hair and dresses that resemble beach cover-ups. Anything that belts with a rope tends to bother me, and the loose-fitting shape paired with that truly postcoital hair really looks like beachwear rather than a party outfit.
JAYMA MAYS // dress by Pamella Roland, purse by Salvatore Ferragamo, shoes by Brian Atwood
This dress is a glorified T-shirt, but that seems to be the theme of this event. At least her shoes are killer.
JENNA USHKOWITZ // dress by BCBG Max Azria, purse by Judith Leiber, shoes by Rene Caovilla
Great color, flattering silhouette, fun aesthetic, if a little tacky. Lose the shoes and she could look quite chic.
NAYA RIVERA // dress by DKNY, shoes by Yves Saint Laurent
Everyone else came in beachwear; Naya showed up in a slutty schoolgirl fantasy. Not surprised. And she looks terrific – anything that shows off those legs is bound to look great on her. Her hair and makeup are never quite perfect, but the dress is hot and the shoes are fun.
HEATHER MORRIS
Heather – employ a stylist. You’re officially just a little too famous to be leaving the house looking like this. Just throw those shoes away and we’ll never speak of this outfit again.
LEA MICHELE // dress by Marchesa, shoes by Casadei
Of the many faces of Lea Michele, smoldering Lea is my least favorite. She looks kinda scary. The shoes are an interesting shape, but I can’t pretend to be impressed by another short strapless Marchesa dress with crinkled crinoline and lace. It’s cute, but we’ve seen it too many times before.
DIANNA AGRON // dress by Christian Cota, purse by Ferragamo, shoes by Camilla Skovgaard
I just could not hate her hair any more if I tried. She’s worked the curly and crimped bobs in the past few weeks, but this straight-and-tousled thing makes her look like an escaped mental patient. The dress is actually quite beautiful, but the color is awful – it makes the dress look like it’s splatterred with dirty dishwater.
JAYMA MAYS // dress by J. Mendel
It’s WAY too bridal for this event, and the dress is unflattering – it makes her look a little painfully thin. The black accessories are just distracting and kind of ugly.
AMBER RILEY
Cute, if a little over-accessorized. You can’t do giant earrings, ten bracelets, two rings and the world’s largest necklace, darling. Do as Coco Chanel says, and take off one accessory before you leave the house.
JENNA USHKOWITZ // dress by Ramy Brook, purse by Judith Leiber, shoes by Casadei
The shoes aren’t my favorite, but I think this is the best Jenna has ever looked. She tends to have a problem with fit and taste level – her dresses always seem to be a size too small and unreasonably tacky – but I like this dress on her. It’s beautifully flattering, and really emphasizes her adorable figure. The color works nicely with her skin and hair, and the ring and purse were solid additions to the look. Get rid of those tacky stripper shoes and we’re good to go!
NAYA RIVERA
First of all, haters can hate, but I’m ALL about this look. The dress fits her like a dream and emphasizes her itsy-bitsy waist and neverending legs. I love the sleeves that hit right at the elbow – always a great look. I like the drama of the slightly poofy shoulders and flower embellishments on the bodice. And you can say black shoes would have been better, but those purple pumps are fierce as hell and a wonderful risk to take. Of course, we can’t ignore the sheer hose, which I’ve already told you are making a massive comeback. She’s working the hell out of them!
HEATHER MORRIS // dress by Tibi Nile
If this dress came close to fitting her, I might not hate it quite as much as I do. But she appears to have feathers falling off of her ears, which I cannot forgive. The proportions and silhouette are a nightmare, and this dress mysteriously makes the itsy bitsy Heather look like she’s preggo. And those shoes should be burned in a fire.
ASHLEY FINK
These bubble/circle patterns are super trendy now – everyone has been wearing Stella McCartney polka-dot outfits lately, both in fashion spreads and on the red carpet. Again, I don’t love the shoes, but girlfriend is working her dress. Love those earrings, too.
CORY MONTEITH
Love a man who dares to don a plaid suit. Looking good, Finn!
MARK SALLING
Another plaid suit, but Puck looks more like a skeevy night club owner than a TV star. The brown shoes were a mistake, and honey needs to button another button and find a tie, stat.
CHRIS COLFER
I’m not a big fan of the collar, especially with a sloppy skinny tie, but he looks freaking adorable overall, so I can’t get too picky. That color shirt really is fantastic on him.
DARREN CRISS
The tie’s a little skinny for my taste, but this suit fits him like a goddamn DREAM. Delicious.
KEVIN MCHALE
Dude, stop being a douchebag and wear normal shoes.
HARRY SHUM JR.
Is he kidding? I was not aware that this was the premiere for Saturday Night Fever 2: A Wrinkled Satin Disaster.
CHORD OVERSTREET
He could use a tie as well, but at least the suit is still sharp. This hair cut and color really work for him.

Can’t believe you liked Chord Overstreet’s suit! It’s a woman’s suit! It’s not even a good woman’s suit like that Ivanka Trump would wear to work; it’s a horrible pre-teen woman’s suit that you’d wear to the Friday night service of a bat mitzvah. BLECH!!!!
