Yes, dear readers. Anne Hathaway gets her own personal Academy Awards fashion recap.
Red Carpet Winner: Anne Hathaway in Valentino
Anne arrived on the red carpet in this uber-dramatic red Valentino gown, looking absolutely perfect. A safe color, but the voluminous gown more than made up for it.
Runway version:
Sexiest Gladiator: Anne Hathaway in Givenchy
Perfect color, fabulous draping, and that bodice is very happening. The handiwork is exceptional, and the whole effect is this sexy modern Gladiator thing that I’m loving.
Runway version:
Diva’s Favorite: Anne Hathaway in Lanvin tux, Brian Atwood shoes
Well, if I wasn’t already totally gaybones for Anne Hathaway, I CERTAINLY am now. I literally could not be more in love with this look. It looked amazing on TV, and those Swarovski crystal pumps are, to quote Rachel Zoe, BA. NA. NAS. (BTW, Rachel Zoe was Anne Hathaway’s stylist for the Oscars. I hope she got paid per look!)
The Forgettable: Anne Hathaway in Vivienne Westwood
The consensus seems to be that this was the least favorite look of the night, and I can’t disagree. I love Vivienne Westwood and this is a great dress, but compared to all the show-stoppers Annie wore, it doesn’t quite pop.
The Trendiest: Anne Hathaway in Oscar de la Renta
A dress that screams “OSCAR, BITCHES!” in more ways than one. Modified flapper dresses are IN, and this is shiny fringe done right.
Oh, and this dress just premiered a few weeks ago at New York Fashion Week:
But one more photo of Annie in this flapper gown, just for funzies:
Best Post-Show Look: Anne Hathaway in Atelier Versace
This is the gown Annie wore to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, and it certainly seems the most post-show friendly, seeing that she can breathe in it and even spill red wine on it! Love the curvy neckline and the different textures, and the relaxed hair definitely says “I deserve a cocktail.”
Best Dressed at the 2021 Oscars: Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
One of my favorites from Spring 2011 Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, Annie went daring and futuristic in this metallic gown that all the fiercest aliens will be wearing when they land on Earth.
And the runway version:
Most Glamorous: Anne Hathaway in Tom Ford
GORGEOUS. It is a whole lot of dress to work with, and it’s not quite as fabulous on TV, where you can’t really examine the details. This look is definitely hardest to wear out of the bunch, but it’s also not just a gown, it’s a work of art. And she’s workin’ it.

So? Which look was your favorite? I loved them all, but I have to go with the Lanvin tuxedo and Brian Atwood heels. I couldn’t stop staring at her.
More Oscar looks coming up later! Reread the liveblog till then. Oh, and don’t forget our flourishing twitter and our brand new tumblr accounts! Keep the love.
