Some of my favorite and least favorite gowns from the Spring 2011 collections made it into Italian Vogue’s February 2011 editorial. Let’s compare the gown in the Vogue spread vs. the Spring 2011 runway version vs. that same dress on the red carpet. You be the judge!

DIVA’S THOUGHTS:
Italian Vogue’s version is my favorite, though January Jones’s tits are hard to compete with. Definitely prefer Vogue and January’s 1920s styling over the runway version’s minimalist aesthetic.

DIVA’S THOUGHTS:
I’m partial to the runway version, since it shows off the real texture and shape in a way that Vogue and Leighton just couldn’t do. I think it looks less costumey outside the tropical rainforest happening in the editorial shot, and the runway model’s accessories are way better than Leighton’s.

DIVA’S THOUGHTS:
This one goes easily to Vogue, since that’s the only shot in which this dress actually looks like fashion. The runway version is better than Drew’s, but both pale in comparison to the editorial.
