This has way too many folds and drapes and wrinkles in it, and the color doesn’t work at all with Eva’s skin tone. The shoes and purse are overwhelming.

Another knock-out ball gown from our First Lady. She looks simply statuesque, and that royal blue suits her.

Florence Welch rocked a similar dress a few months ago at the Givenchy Spring 2011 fashion show in Paris. It’s not particularly fascinating, but it’s pretty and the print is interesting. The colors are lovely, and though a shiny nude peep-toe pump is about as expected as can be, this shoe looks fabulous on her. Love, love, LOVE the coral purse. Great contrast to the beige-pinks of the dress and shoes.
