A few weeks ago, New York Fashion Week brought us some ubiquitous trends. Now that London and Milan Fashion Weeks have come and gone, let’s see what the fabulous Brits and Italians had to say about what all of us will be wearing next spring.
Giant Florals
Just like in New York, the London and Milan runways embraced the literal meaning of spring and threw flowers all over the place. An incredible amount of head-to-toe floral looks, or gowns with supersized florals on them, walked the runways this season. Let’s take a look at how your favorite designers interpreted this particular trend.

Crop Tops
Unfortunately for all non-models, London and Milan are also on board for the crop top trend. In fact, some of the biggest designers abroad were using crop tops in formal wear or just all over their collections – Emilio Pucci, Prada, Missoni, Dolce & Gabbana – everybody’s ready for the 90s to come back, full swing.

The Little White Dress
Although LWDs have been huge since Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2011 collection, it seems the rest of the fashion industry has caught up, and expanded it from little lacy dresses to white dresses of all shapes, cuts, and fabrics. It’s time to invest in a new wardrobe staple, ladies. (And gentlemen who are so inclined.)

I LOVE the floral Blumarine dress (minus the shoes which I think is too much). What am I supposed to do with a crop top? I saw a woman on the subway last night wearing a crop top and right where the “drift” was located was a giant flowery (combination of the trends) tattoo. Sucks when she has a babay. As for the white dresses, I LOVE Blugirl because I always love textures and that FIERCE model! Like she is fierce. I also love Emporio Armani which I don’t always love. I think it is the flow of the dress on the runway.
