Front Row: Stars at Fall 2013 Fashion Week, Part 3

The fashion shows might be over, but the fun ain’t done until the Diva has had her say.

Fashion superhero Fan Bingbing hit the Louis Vuitton show decked out in the label’s ubiquitous checkerboard print, which we’ve seen on the likes of Kristen Stewart, Kerry Washington, Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Alba, Miranda Kerr, and basically every other celebrity with a pulse. From perfectly coiffed hair to absurdly fabulous leather half-gloves to that delicious purse, there is no better Paris Fashion Week look than this one, as far as I’m concerned.

January Jones took Betty Hofstadt Draper Francis to a whole new swingin’ 60s level at the Miu Miu show, sporting some Hairspray-style locks, ridiculously fun sunglasses, gorgeous separates by the label, and funky platforms. What more could you want?

THIS is why we need more ladypants on the red carpet. Do you see how fucking uniquely fabulous a woman can be in a perfectly-fit suit in an obnoxiously bright color?

Cute outfit, but the bag is EVERYTHING.

Those shoes look approximately eleven thousand sizes too large for her – they make her feet look bigger than literally any other part of her body, and it’s a little bit terrifying. Other than that, this crop top and skirt is all kinds of fabulous.

I’m not saying anyone but Karlie Kloss could pull it off, but I cannot stop staring at this beauty of a dress.

NICOLE RICHIE at the Valentino show

If ever there’s a time to get away with wearing a ruffled coat over a ruffled dress, it’s at the Valentino show. And to be honest, this is the best Nicole Richie has looked in years.

Adorable, and I’m no Stella McCartney fan. But this is a hundred times better than the unflattering version we saw on Chloë Moretz a few weeks ago.

LILY COLLINS at the Louis Vuitton after-party

I wouldn’t be caught dead in such a dull pair of shoes at Paris Fashion Week, but that dress is all kinds of adorable. Is “potato sack chic” a thing? Because Lily could make it happen.

Never pair a collared dress with black stockings and shoes, dear readers. You will look like an overly made-up school girl, much like Lily does here.

You guys like, JUST got married. How do you already look like a middle-aged couple trying to stave off divorce?

One day, stars will stop buttoning their blouses all the way up to the top, and I will be a happier blogger for it.

Great coat, but this is supremely underwhelming as a whole.

MARION COTILLARD at the Dior show

Marion wears a different beautiful piece of Dior fashion basically every single day of her life, and this is what she shows up to the fashion show in? What a disappointment.

Love the outfit, hate the makeup.

Okay, now I hate the outfit AND the makeup. Is this what happens when Jessica is left to her own devices, or did she actually employ someone to destroy her face this terribly?

Great coat, but otherwise, a pretty forgettable look. And it’s Burberry, for God’s sake – EVERYONE is wearing a great coat. So that almost doesn’t count.

I’d like it better without the random sleeve.

These are some of the most poorly fit garments I’ve ever seen a star wear. That bodice completely flattens and widens her bust and torso, giving her no shape whatsoever, and those hideous pants are too tight in the calf, too loose in the crotch, and too hideous for me to look at any longer.

  1. Fan Bingbing is awesome, but it’s hard for me to understand how I’m supposed to shit myself with excitement for the fact that she’s wearing the same thing that a millionty stars have already worn. I get that she’s wearing it better than most of them have, but I’m also tired of that dress, in general.

+1 to every other thing you said, though. Especially Freida Pinto. HOW? WHY?
