Here’s the second part of your red carpet recap, darlings.
JENNIFER LOPEZ in Herve Leger
Love the sunglasses. The dress? Well, it’s J.Lo in another too-tight bandage dress. What else is new?
JENNIFER LOPEZ in A.L.C.
She’s so much more lovely in a flowing dress and structured blazer than in a boa constrictor-tight cocktail dress.
JENNIFER LOPEZ in Rachel Zoe
It’s slightly too short, making the coat dress look like a jacket with no pants. But otherwise, it’s lovely.
JENNIFER LOPEZ in Brose
I know this is the most I’ve ever complimented J.Lo in the history of this blog, but I don’t hate this either. I mean, obviously the nude shoes, nude purse, and nude dress are killing me, but at least it’s a light enough nude that it contrasts nicely with her coloring. I find myself saying once again that if this were a little longer, I’d really enjoy it. And I love Louboutins as much as the next girl, but it’s sort of refreshing to see a pair of nude platform pumps that doesn’t have that telltale red on the inside of the stiletto, isn’t it?
KATE BOSWORTH
Great shoes; eyesore of a dress.
KATE MIDDLETON in Zara
Perfect.
KATE MIDDLETON in Alexander McQueen
EVEN MORE PERFECT. That coat is our new obsession.
KATIE HOLMES in Max Mara
Considering the fact that she’s wearing a wide-legged bell-bottomed double-breasted jumpsuit, she actually looks pretty good.
KATIE HOLMES in Max Mara
The shoes are all wrong, but it’s probably the cutest dress we’ve seen her in in years.
KIRSTEN DUNST in Rodarte
KRISTEN WIIG
Hate the bib and the length, but good effort.
KRYSTEN RITTER in Alice + Olivia
If she’d paired the dress with funkier accessories, it would work. But she just looks like a very spoiled little girl.
LADY GAGA in vintage Versace
I have to say, I’m enjoying Gaga’s spin on the Joey Buttafuoco pant.
LADY GAGA
Definitely our favorite Gaga look of the last few weeks. That jacket is pretty fucking amazing.
LESLIE MANN in Max Mara
Stunning dress. Lose the purse.
LI BING BING in Roberto Cavalli
Working the shit out of that gown IN THE POURING RAIN. That’s what we call committing to the look, bitches.
LIV TYLER in Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney might be the most boring designer of the labels most popular with celebrities, so I can’t really fault Liv for looking boring in Stella at her Resort 2012 show.
LUCY LIU in Vivienne Westwood
LOVE. Most celebs fear plaid on the red carpet, but not me, and not Lucy. The pink purse is cute, if sort of an afterthought.
MARIA SHARAPOVA in Alexander McQueen
Fabulous jewelry, adorable dress (love the shoulder cut-outs), but those shoes are a bit much.
MIA WASIKOWSKA
Ugh. The mental patient hair doesn’t really work with anything, especially not this cheap-looking, sad little dress.
NAYA RIVERA
Cute enough for a Glee press event. Should’ve taken the blazer off for pictures, though. Love the shoes.
OLIVIA WILDE in Vivienne Westwood
It’s only beautiful because of the woman in it. The dress is pretty basic and the print is ordinary as can be. The gold sandals were a mistake. But her eye makeup looks amazing.
REESE WITHERSPOON in Jason Wu
We hate that every dress Reese wears has one fabric on top, a break at the waist, and another fabric on the bottom, but this dress really works on her. That pinkish red is just fantastic.
ROSE BYRNE in Christian Cota
Gorgeous. Needs a necklace and a more interesting shoe.
ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY in Michael Kors
Again, darlings, your pants need not cover your shoes. If you’re going to spend upwards of a thousand dollars on a hideous jumpsuit, you might as well keep it clean.
TAYLOR SWIFT in D&G
I really like this dress on her. It looks her style without looking like every single other thing she owns. But girlfriend needs to switch up that hair and makeup once in awhile. Heavy black eyeliner, tons of blush, and red lips don’t go with everything. She’d have looked ten times better if she went a little more fresh-faced.
