Celebrities from A-list to Z-list are sitting front row at the runway shows of New York Fashion Week.
LEA MICHELE at the Jason Wu show
top and skirt by Jason Wu, shoes by Brian Atwood
The Glee cast will be all over New York Fashion Week – they did a music video promoting Fashion’s Night Out, after all. Lea Michele dutifully hit the Jason Wu show in demure curls and a prim-and-proper ensemble. I think she looks adorable. Sexy shoes, adorable skirt length, pop of color in the purse, flattering top, red lips.
JAIME KING at the Jason Wu show
Could we just wear shirts, please?
HEIDI KLUM at the Project Runway show
jumpsuit by Michael Kors
Ugh, I’m SO over Heidi in a glittery jumpsuit. This is not two seasons ago, Klum. Keep up.
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT at the Project Runway show
Haven’t we moved past the ace bandage dresses yet? I feel like I’ve seen J.Lo.Hew. in this exact dress at every B-list event of the last two years. I’m OVER it.
MALIN AKERMAN at the Project Runway show
Cute, but a little dull. #dontborenina
BETSEY JOHNSON at the Project Runway show
Looks like she’s in McQueen, the fabulous old bitch. I can’t believe she’s still wearing shoes like that at her age, but God bless her for it.
CORINNE BAILEY RAE at the Project Runway show
Corrine Bailey Ray is the one who sang that “Girl, put your records on” song. I had no idea she also had fierce style! But her hair is DELICIOUS, I love the light, bright makeup, and the dress is perfect on her. Super-flattering, great fit and proportions, and fabulously adorned in a sort of modern flapper way.
ELISHA CUTHBERT at the BCBG Max Azria show
I don’t know who she is, but I need to say two things: 1) Color blocking is HUGE this season; get ready. 2) If this were a size bigger, this bitch would look pretty amazing. But she needs to learn the art of accessorizing.
DWAYNE WADE at the BCBG Max Azria show
I don’t know things about basketball, but my brain exploded at the idea of Dwayne Wade chatting up Anna Wintour during a fashion show, so I had to include him. (Also, because my old roommate Jill is all about him.)
SOPHIA BUSH at the BCBG Max Azria show
dress by BCBG Max Azria
Meh. The colors are drab and it just kind of hangs on her in a sad watercolor sort of way. And the shoes don’t work with it at all.
SOPHIA BUSH at the Rebecca Taylor show
The skirt is okay, the blouse is kinda fug, and none of the pieces in her outfit really go with one another.
ASHLEY TISDALE at the Rebecca Taylor show
SNOOZE. Stop going to things if you’re going to look boring.
ASHLEY TISDALE at the Nicole Miller show
purse by Lauren Merkin
I WILL CUT OFF THE NEXT SLOPPY BRAID I SEE ON THE RED CARPET. Also, get your roots done. And your shoes look stupid.
ALEXIS BLEDEL at the Nicole Miller show
She’s like, the universe’s most boring dresser, but who can resist her blue eyes with this dress?
ASHLEY TISDALE at the Luca Luca show
I just threw up in my mouth. Who destroys such a beautiful skirt with that t-shirt? Who pairs that t-shirt with that blinged out necklace? Why hasn’t she fired her colorist yet?
JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER at the Luca Luca show
Cute, but the invisible shoes are so boring. Love the color and shape of the dress, though.
WHITNEY PORT at the Luca Luca show
I just can’t imagine why anyone would look at ANY of those items she’s wearing and say, “Yes! This is what you should wear!” I couldn’t hate this more if I tried.
ANNA DELLO RUSSO at the Peter Som show
I’d never dream of telling the editor of Japanese Vogue that she needs to cover up, but I prefer my Anna Dello Russo in a dramatic gown, wearing a fascinator adorned with pineapples.
ALEXA CHUNG at the Cynthia Rowley show
Okay, I don’t hate this. If it were 1997, I would think this was the chicest thing I’d ever seen. However, it’s not.
LINDSAY LOHAN at the Cynthia Rowley show
Lindsay Lohan can now officially be mistaken for someone three times her age. I don’t know when she decided to share wigs with Donatella Versace, but Donatella better be careful. You don’t want to know where Lindsay’s head has been.
ED WESTWICK at the Tommy Hilfiger Menswear show
The shirt is just a little too much with the pinstriped suit, and the cranberry stripes on the tie are not at all my thing. But the suit itself looks fantastic on him.
KELLAN LUTZ at the Tommy Hilfiger Menswear show
Swap the tie, and he’d be absolutely perfect. I’ve never been into vampires, but I’ll admit his eyes are incredible, even if his collar is slightly too big.
JAMES MARSDEN at the Tommy Hilfiger Menswear show
Nice colors, but a slimmer fit jacket would flatter him more. And it’s all a bit shiny, isn’t it?
